MEET THE INNKEEPER
SANDRA GAROFOLO
Innkeeper & Trained Chef -Cordon-bleu
I am a globetrotter and spend the winter months traveling the world. My children and grandchildren have lived overseas for many years launching my cosmopolitan lifestyle. I am a cordon bleu-trained chef passionate about art, design, food, and wine. We owned a family cottage on Manitoulin Island and my children grew up spending their summers on the island forging great lifelong memories and experiences. We always wanted to come back to live on this “magical” and spiritual island. From my point of view; there is no more breathtaking place on this earth than Manitoulin Island. My husband, Mark, and I feel this is the culmination of our life’s work and our passions. We fell in love with the Queen’s Inn the moment we walked through the front door. Our goal is to preserve the structural integrity, beauty, and historical value of The Queen’s Inn and share it with you….
